Founder / CEO / Creative Director
Ericka is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of Ericka’s House of Elegance, a unique boutique that offers products and services including hair care, hand crafted jewelry, pet grooming, home spa products, small & personalized gifts, and cannabis relaxation accessories. Ericka, a single mother, started Ericka's House of Elegance as a mobile hair salon. She also moonlighted as a manager in the Hospitality industry. This allowed her the flexibility she needed to tend to her family. She would travel to her clients, providing them with the privacy they requested instead of having them come to a salon. Her interest in arts and crafts skyrocketed during her tenure as a Girl Scout troop leader. She started making jewelry and even taught herself how to crochet and refurbish old furniture. Ericka later decided to incorporate her love of crafting into her business by opening new "ROOMS" in Ericka's House. Now, she’s able to do everything she loves and take care of the people most important to her.
Zayna Brown
VP of Operations / Creative Designer
Zayna, Ericka's eldest daughter, is the Vice President of Operations and a Creative Designer at Ericka’s House of Elegance. She works alongside her mother in the Ziva's Hair Boutique as a highly skilled apprentice braider. Zayna has watched her mom create beautiful styles on clients for years and has developed the same love and appreciation of healthy hair. Zayna is also the owner of two entities under the Ericka's House of Elegance "ROOF", Sky High Suppliezz (cannabis relaxation accessories) and Zayna’s Backyard Playground (short term boarding, grooming and simple pet play dates). Zayna has loved animals since she was a young child and generally always had a pet, whether it be a dog, a turtle (or 3), hermit crabs or a rabbit. It’s safe to say that Zayna loves animals more than most humans. Being the daughter of a single mother, Zayna has seen the affects that anxiety and depression can have on people and has recently discovered how cannabis can help relax the mind and body in ways tradition medicines cannot. With this new outlet, Zayna offers a wide variety of accessories to help with the relaxation that cannabis creates.
